✨ INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT ✨ Kimberly is not only ✨ INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT ✨ Kimberly is not only the longest standing instructor at Younique, but also the woman behind the scenes making all the magic happen whether it’s handling admin, organizing events, or simply holding space for our community. She is an integral part of this studio! If you’ve taken her class, you’ve experienced her creative flare for sequencing and know you’ll always be met with incredible energy and a challenge that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment. Whether you’re new here, a regular student, or haven’t come to see us in a while we wanted to share a little bit about our space and our mission here. Our boutique yoga studio is not just a hot yoga studio – we’re a community where mindfulness meets muscle burn, and every class ignites transformation. Feel the warmth of the room as you flow through postures, toxins releasing and flexibility blossoming in the gentle humidity. Leave your worries at the door, embrace the moment, and find your strength with every exhale. We primarily offer Hot vinyasa, which is a dynamic style of yoga practiced in a heated room, typically around 90°F (32°C). The heat helps to warm the muscles, increasing flexibility and allowing for deeper stretches. Vinyasa refers to the way the postures flow together, seamlessly connecting breath to movement. This creates a continuous flow of energy throughout the practice, leaving you feeling invigorated and detoxified. We also regularly offer Workshops such as Yin, Yoga Nidra, Sound Baths, and Ecstatic dance, amongst others! We welcome all levels of practitioners and hope to provide a little something for everyone. If nothing else, this space is a safe harbor, a place you can come to fully exhale. Yoga Nidra (often translated as Yogic Sleep) is a beautiful guided meditative technique that allows us to quiet our conscious mind and slip into a restorative space for both mind, body and soul. The practice of Yoga Nidra greatly relieves stress and anxiety, improves overall health, offers an opportunity to explore your inner-self, allows you to release long-held emotions and achieve a state of inner peace. In allowing this space within ourselves we come to find a balance between our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, therefore balancing the left and right brain. Each time you practice Yoga Nidra Meditation, you’re stilling the mind through conscious entry into the sleep state.Yoga Nidra can be practiced at any age and is easily incorporated into daily life. 30-40 minutes of this practice is the equivalent of 3-4 hours of regular sleep. When we emerge from the practice you will feel calmer, deeply refreshed and well rested. This practice will aid in allowing for a more restful and peaceful night’s sleep. Arrive in comfortable clothing, cozy socks and prepare to restore. $35- Limited Space - see you there!

In a candlelit room, you will be led through a guided meditation to ground you to rest, allowing the beautiful healing tones of the alchemy bowls to shift you into a meditative space. ECSTATIC DANCE - Sunday 2/2 @ 6:30pm Join us for ECSTATIC DANCE - Sunday 2/2 @ 6:30pm Join us for this immersion into healing movement. Instead of a “dance class,” ecstatic dance is an active and creative practice of free-form dance that invites you to drop into the body as it rides a wave of curated music. We will begin the session with a short discussion: to set expectations that will help to create a safe space for all dancers to be their authentic selves, to freely dance like no one is watching. We will then move through a 60 minute playlist that will begin and end in stillness. As the music slowly begins, let your body’s intuition guide you as you stretch, breathe, meditate, and explore. Rise as the music rises, as it builds towards a liberating peak. Discover music and movement as medicine: an opportunity to feel, to surrender, to release, to create space, to play, to awaken, to transcend. There is no wrong way to dance. Free your body, free your mind. Ecstatic dance is an energetic practice that helps us move emotions, release blockages, and have glimpses of an ecstatic state where we can connect with our true nature. Come prepared to move – however vigorously or calmy as your body guides. The dance can be a hearty workout or a calming mediation. The dance can be personal or social. The dance can be healing, rejuvenating, emotional, or celebratory. It is whatever you make it. Founded in the late 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui, this ancient practice can be used to heal oneself, others, animals, plants, and even the Earth. Many people seek Reiki for pain relief, immune system support, and to restore energetic balance. It has proven effective in addressing various illnesses and works in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic techniques by accelerating the body’s natural healing abilities. _____________________________ In Usui Reiki Level 1 training, you will be introduced to the history and main principles of Reiki. You will learn the basic hand positions for treatment and have the opportunity to practice using Reiki on yourself and others during the training. This training is open to anyone interested in learning more about Reiki energy healing. Upon completion of training, you’ll have the practical tools for self-healing and for helping others on their healing path. Join us for a well rounded and immersive experience! The 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is a 6 month program meeting once per week on Sundays (with the exceptions of bad weather/holidays).
