Monday evenings will shift a leetle bit (6:30pm is becoming 6:45pm) as we bring into the fold, Jordan #2 aka Jordan Marciano! Jordan has spent more than a decade teaching yoga — specializing in functional movement, intelligent power flow and yin. With a background rooted in thoughtful sequencing and sustainable practice, she aims to help students build strength, mobility, and a deeper connection to their bodies. She lives in Asbury Park with her man and her chihuahua mix Basil, off the mat, she lives for loud music, good coffee and drag queens. Just like Jordan does - come as you are to her classes.

In a dimly lit studio illuminated by candlelight, Kimberly will lead you through an hour of guided meditation to bring your body into a state of deep relaxation. 40 minutes of Nidra is the equivalent of 4 hours of peaceful restful sleep. A form of hypnosis, Yoga Nidra brings you to a space of energetic weightlessness, where you remain on the cusp of sleep— awake and aware— With her voice as your guide you will be led on a journey through a full body, crown to root release, followed by breath isolation and visualization. You will leave feeling deeply restored, relaxed and at peace. If you’ve been looking for some intentional self care, this is certainly the offering for it We hope to see you there :)

ECSTATIC DANCE - Sunday 11/23 @ 6:30pm Join us fo ECSTATIC DANCE - Sunday 11/23 @ 6:30pm Join us for this immersion into healing movement. Instead of a “dance class,” ecstatic dance is an active and creative practice of free-form dance that invites you to drop into the body as it rides a wave of curated music. We will begin the session with a short discussion: to set expectations that will help to create a safe space for all dancers to be their authentic selves, to freely dance like no one is watching. We will then move through a 60 minute playlist that will begin and end in stillness. As the music slowly begins, let your body’s intuition guide you as you stretch, breathe, meditate, and explore. Rise as the music rises, as it builds towards a liberating peak. Discover music and movement as medicine: an opportunity to feel, to surrender, to release, to create space, to play, to awaken, to transcend. There is no wrong way to dance. Free your body, free your mind. Ecstatic dance is an energetic practice that helps us move emotions, release blockages, and have glimpses of an ecstatic state where we can connect with our true nature. Come prepared to move – however vigorously or calmy as your body guides. The dance can be a hearty workout or a calming mediation. The dance can be personal or social. The dance can be healing, rejuvenating, emotional, or celebratory. It is whatever you make it. We believe in the village mentality, in seva (Sanskrit for “selfless service”) and find any and all ways we can advocate for and contribute to those who are functioning at a deficit. There will be bins placed in the Allenhurst studio lobby. If you have been feeling the call to help, are in a position to and/or inclined to offer assistance and are searching for a way to make a difference in these coming months - we invite you to contribute to our “giving bin” as you see fit, leaving behind non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products or store giftcards to pay it forward and give back. ALL items collected will go directly to the Fulfill Food Banks serving Monmouth + Ocean counties. Donate food, funds + reusable bags! Yes, reusable bags.
