Carla discovered yoga as a competitive soccer player, using it to balance the intensity of the sport. After transitioning away from soccer, she struggled to find something that was injury-friendly yet still challenging and stimulating. It is then that Carla began to lean more into yoga and fall in love with the practice, which offered not only physical benefits but also a deep mental and spiritual connection. She completed her 200-hour YTT in 2021 and has been sharing her passion for yoga with others ever since.

Carla is proudly shaped by her upbringing in a creative home with two parents who have a deep appreciation for art and music.

In her classes, you can expect a diverse soundtrack—from rock legends like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, soulful tracks by The Roots, to traditional Krishna Das chants- and more in between. Her classes are designed to be both invigorating and stress releasing, with an emphasis on alignment and the breath. She strives to offer an experience that’s not just physical, but also a celebration of music, energy, and creativity, ensuring that every class feels both fresh and deeply rooted in tradition.

When not teaching, Carla works as a supply chain consultant, often traveling internationally to help her clients make their supply chain more sustainable. She loves to take yoga classes in all of the places she visits and take home a little piece of her diverse learnings to share with her students.
